Tankless Water Heater Upgrade

Replaced a 15-year-old 50-gallon tank water heater with a Rinnai RU199iN tankless unit. The homeowners were tired of running out of hot water with three teenagers in the house — now they've got endless hot water on demand.
Upgraded the gas line from 1/2" to 3/4" to handle the higher BTU demand, added a condensate drain, and mounted the unit on the exterior wall to free up garage space. Energy savings should pay for the upgrade in about 4 years.
